OnePlus has released new hardware and software specifications for the upcoming OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite ahead of the India launch on May 7 at 12:00 PM IST, alongside the standard OnePlus Nord CE6. This release marks the return of the Nord CE Lite series to the Indian market after a two-year hiatus, succeeding the previously released OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite.
The device will be available in two color options: Vivid Mint and Hyper Black.
Core Specifications and Performance
The OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Apex chipset, built on a 4nm process. This is paired with UFS 3.1 storage and a 5,300 mm² vapor chamber (VC) cooling system designed to manage device temperatures during sustained use. According to OnePlus, the hardware combination achieves an AnTuTu benchmark score exceeding 1,030,000.
The device features a 6.72-inch Full HD display with an adaptive refresh rate. The screen can scale up to 120Hz for standard usage and up to 144Hz for supported applications, allowing for up to 144 FPS in specific runner games and 90 FPS in supported shooter titles.
Battery and Charging
A notable specification of the Nord CE6 Lite is its 7000mAh battery, which the manufacturer states can provide up to two days of standard usage on a single charge. OnePlus also claims the battery is engineered to retain up to 80% of its health capacity after six years of use.
The device supports 45W SUPERVOOC charging and includes bypass charging technology, a feature that routes power directly to the motherboard to reduce heat generation during resource-intensive tasks like gaming.
Camera Hardware and AI Features
The camera system consists of a 50MP primary rear sensor capable of 4K video recording, alongside an 8MP front-facing camera.
The software includes built-in video and music editing tools that support high-quality 4K exports at original frame rates, along with several AI-assisted photography and editing features, including: Motion Photos (with 4K support), AI Perfect Shot, AI Reflection Eraser, AI Detail Boost, AI Portrait Glow, AI Eraser and AI Reframe.
Software, AI Integration, and Durability
The Nord CE6 Lite will run on OxygenOS 16 out of the box. OnePlus has committed to five years of long-term software support for the device.
For everyday functionality, the smartphone integrates Google’s suite of AI tools. This includes the “Circle to Search” feature and Google Gemini integration, supporting Gemini Live with both camera and screen-sharing functionalities for real-time, context-aware assistance.
In terms of physical durability, the device carries a MIL-STD-810H certification and is rated for resistance against dust ingress and standard water splashes.
